Like all the Sleek MakeUp palettes, the Original contains 12 shades of eye shadows. They mainly have a metallic or frost finishes, except for the black, which has a matte finish. Contrary to the other palettes, the Original palette does not name the eyeshadows. Each pan is 1.1 gram (12x1.1gr).
Generally Sleek eyeshadows tend to be powdery, and the waffle print doesn't help a bit: expect a bit of powder coming loose from the pan when picking up the shadow with a brush. This doesn't translate to automatic fall off when applying the eyeshadow but I strongly recommend to tap your brush a couple of times to shake off the excess powder.
Also, the color payoff goes from good to excellent in this palette, but I think a base or primer is needed to get the full strength of the pigments. The eyeshadows also apply better with the help of a base/primer, blend more easily and last longer.
The first two colors are the previously mentioned matte black eyeshadow and a light gold shade that is perfect for highlighting.

Next two shades are a purple and a pink. In the pictures the purple looks almost blue, and while it's blue based, on the eye it's redder and less violet. It has shimmer but it's not overwhelming. The pink shade shown here is one of the two pink shades in the palette and this one has gold iridescence in it, making it a golden pink. It's a very delicate pink, almost antique, but the gold shimmer shows up a lot both in the picture and in reality.

The fifth and sixth eyeshadows are the first blue of the palette and the second pink. The blue is in a navy shade, dark, with a slight sheen to it. It doesn't apply well without base, becoming almost a blue toned black. This second pink is similar to the first one, but lighter and with a cold, silver shimmery iridescence.

Next are the second blue shade and the first brown. The blue shade is an intense turquoise with crazy color payoff. In the picture with flask it showed up really blue instead of turquoise! The second shade is bronzy shimmery brown in the pan but is less scary when applied, especially on a base, because it helps toning down the strength of the shimmer.

In my pictures the next two shades may seem identical to the one that came before but I guarantee that they are completely different. The first is a teal eyeshadow with a pearly finish: it looks blue-based to me, but I may be wrong. It's maybe the less pigmented eyeshadow of the whole palette.
The second color is a golden brown shade with a strong cold metallic finish. It's buttery and soft, so it's easy to pick up but it sort of applies patchily if you don't shake off the excess powder.
