The Eyes
Day 2. All pink and gold and glittery. Open eye, natural light. |
Day 2. All pink and gold and glittery. Closed eye, natural light. |
I drew a gold thin line very close to my upper lash line with BarryM Metallic Liquid Eyeliner.
Day 2. theBalm HotMama! blush on the cheeks (natural light) |
On the cheeks I thinly spread a layer of theBalm HotMama! blush. It must be used with caution because even if the color is a sedate pink-peach, it pack a punch with its golden mini-glitter/shimmer.
On the lips, I used my favorite product for lips: YSL Vernis à Lèvres. Here I used n.25, which is a pink fuchsia color that remains glossy for a long time. It stains a bit, so be careful! Here I applied only one layer but if you want, once the first layer is dry you can always apply another layer for stronger color payoff. Be careful also not to press your lips together to spread the product: just use the applicator and let the product dry!

Eye Shadows.
The pictures on top were taken in natural light, the one on the bottom with camera with flash. On the left, the eyeshadow applied without a base, on the right applied with a base (Mac Painterly).
The pink color is Passionate, a matte eye shadow which is a bit dry and powdery but has a good color payoff. Kid ha a Veluxe finish and the texture is very soft. It is a bit hard to pick up from the pan but the color payoff is good and the blending is not to complicated. It is a nice neutral all-over color for the lid.

theBalm HotMama! blush is a fantastic blush, with a soft texture, that blends easily and that must be picked out carefully with a blush because it is a bit powdery. It must be used with caution because even if the color is a sedate pinky-peach, it packs a punch with its golden mini-glitter/shimmer.
Top row: the blush photographed with flash; bottom row: HotMama! in natural light.
Left column: HotMama! applied on a base (foundation); right column: HotMama! applied without base.

The BarryM. Metallic liquid eyeliner in gold is a decent eyeliner, if a bit too watery, which makes the application a bit uneven. The color has a metallic sheen (duh!) and tends to bronze tones. The eyeliner comes with a felt tip applicator.
