I used a couple of colors for my Greenleaf look a few days ago, and since I posted a picture of the whole palette, I thought it would be nice to make a full review of this products.
So without farther ado, here's my review!
Neve Cosmetics Intensissimi palette. My camera didn't pick up the colors right! Keep reading for a more accurate rendering of the colors! |
The Intensissimi palette contains 10 eyeshadows, each 36mm pan has 3 grams worth of products.
All the eyeshadows are paraben-free, petrolatum and silicon free.
"Intensissimi" in Italian is a superlative for the word "intenso"(intense), which then roughly translate the name of this palette to "the most intense (colors). And the colors are really intense shades.
Overall the eyeshadow contained in this palette go from "good" to "excellent", with only one shade (Night Life) requiring more effort to work. The color payoff is good, and even if they are a bit powdery, these eyeshadow apply easily to the skin and blends easily. Neve Cosmetics says that the eyeshadows can be applied both wet and dry.
The majority of the color has a satin finish, but I hesitate to say that the matte colors in this palette are truly matte, as all the shades have a distinct sheen.
I only tried these eyeshadows with a primer because I have oily eyelids, and on me they last on average a good 8 hours without creasing or fading. Some colors works better wet or over a primer/base.

Neve Cosmetics Magma and Grass from the Intensissimi Palette |
Magma is a red shade with strong orange undertones and a matte finish; Grass is grass (ah!) green with a satin finish. As you can see from the swatches below, and especially the picture taken with flash, the color are really bright, and even the mattes seem to have some kind of sheen or shimmer to them.

Neve Cosmetics Diva and Brivido from the Intensissimi Palette |
Watermelon is a satin red with strong pink undertones. Acquario (trans. "aquarium") is a turquoise shade with a satin finish.
Diva is a bright fuchsia color with a satin finish. Brivido (trans. "shiver") is a bright blue, almost a true cyan color with a satin finish.

Neve Cosmetics Velvet and Nightlife from the Intensissimi palette. |
Both colors need a primer to show up on the skin; without primer you need more than a layer for the colors to be intense.

It's also very good value for money, as it is 26,80€/35,75UDS for ten 3gr. shades!
I highly recommend this palette for people who like bold, bright colors and like springtime-inspire looks!
An addendum: so far, Neve Cosmetics does not ship outside Italy, which it's a real pity because their products are outstanding (also, vegan!) and deserve international recognition. I am sure that if you covet this palette or any other of their product you can find someone in Italy to purchase it and then send it to you!
